OpenArena Download for Windows 7, Mac, Linux

OpenArena is an action game which has the same engine used in Quake III inspired gameplay including every detail of this classic series. Although it is worth noting that OpenArena is free. This open source game during the course of time it receives new updates providing it with better graphics, sounds, new game modes, new scenarios, and even a game system called "mission pack" that was used in the Quake series, but note that there is a system being created so we can find options disabled or no access.

Being a PC game that is updated very steady for the moment we have a total of 45 scenarios and twelve modes of play in which we find from the most basic to the newest.

These Are The MODES The OpenArena Game Includes:

Deathmatch: This is the typical robin and won only one who accumulates the most deaths during a given time will be who wins.

Dethmatch Team: Two teams (Red and Blue) and won only one who accumulates the most deaths from the opposing team either by a certain time or a number of frags (deaths, suicides).

Capture the Flag: Each team has a flag at its base, the target is in which to steal the flag and bring it to the base in order to be counted as catch. Won the computer to add more flags captured.

Tourney: The two players clashed in mortal combat, who happened to lose viewers while another player takes his place.

Elimination: The two teams meet in order to terminate all opposing players, each player eliminated will be a spectator until his team win or lose. The winning team will get one point to put more points at the end of the round wins.

CTF Elimination: This combines with the Elimination mode capture the flag. The two teams face and as players are eliminated these viewers remain until there is a winner. Whoever wins will get a point but you can get them stealing the opposing team's flag. He who has most points during the round is the winner.

Last Man Standing: These scores points which stand achieved after a struggle of all against all. As they depart they will be spectators eliminating players until a winner. At the end whoever wins scored more points.

Double Domination: Two points A and B map, the team success in keeping these two points for 10 seconds gets a point. At the end will be victorious who has the most points or have reached the maximum number of points proposed.

One Flag CTF: Both teams have a flag each, but will be a third which must be taken to the base of the opposing team to count as a point. The more points you make for a certain time or reach a maximum number of catches wins.

Harvester: The two teams have an obelisk at its base and there will be a third in the fall when an opponent in a skull generated which must be taken wing base of the opposing team in order to gain points. It may take more than a skull so that for every skull will earn one point. Won the team that managed to get more skulls…

Overload: Each team has a huge skull on their bases; the goal is to destroy this skull by a bombardment, causing the game to start again. Won the team that succeeded in destroying the skull as many times…

Domination: The aim of the teams gets to keep the points on the map for longer in order to add up points and generating units. For example: The computer that controls the three points you get three units every second, if you control two points generates two units per second, etc.

As for the characters that we can choose individual items to complete a total of 35, which will not go into detail of these because of their large number

Once we step into the fast battles and like Quake, we will see scattered around the stage different objects as enhancing health, protection, etc.... as well as weapons which will help us fly the visors of the enemies around the scenario, the action actually will be from start to finish.

I must say that we have several game modes such as, item if we want to practice a bit and then go to multiplayer games either via LAN with friends or against gamers from around the world via the Internet.

OpenArena has no edge graphics but are enough to give us a pretty addictive gameplay so you will always find players in multiplayer games thus increasing the interest and fun in style.
